Targeted Aquaponic Growth
Feed a Child. Change a Life. Define a Future
Project Overview
The Case for Support
Targeted Aquaponic Growth (a 501c3) is embarking on an ambitious aquaculture project
in partnership with The Church of Uganda and working directly with the Archbishop and his staff. We envision a future where children in Uganda no longer suffer from malnutrition, where they have access to nutritious meals year-round, and where communities thrive through sustainable agriculture and education. We have designed and are set to build an integrated fish farm which will make this vision a reality. Situated waterfront on the shores of Lake Victoria, the farm will be built on a 10-acre portion of a historic 30-acre church property in Katosi, Uganda. To bring this transformational project to fulfillment…
The Need
Over 2,000,000
Orphaned and vulnerable children suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition in Uganda and another 10,000,000+ in the four neighboring countries.
The Solution
Sustainability
Sustainable food production using Integrated Aquaculture farms.
WHY WE MUST ACT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY
TODAY
Because opportunities like this don't come along often!
Because we have assembled a team of experts.
Because we have the technology and equipment.
And most importantly
Because we have the right partners on the ground to accomplish something special!

Key Strategic Resources
-
Uganda’s National Aquaculture Center equips us with invaluable resources and expertise. Staffed with local aquaculture experts in breeding, hatchery operations, nutritional science, pond engineering and construction, it will serve as a tremendous hub of knowledge and in-country innovation. The Aquaculture Center has a large set of production ponds as well as a substantial hatchery and a fully equipped feed mill capable of producing floating fish food. Click here to learn more.

Situated just 500 yards from the farm, The Pines encompass a beautiful 20-acre property which feature four guesthouses as well as a swimming pool, tennis court, and beautifully landscaped jogging trails. The property also has a separate great room building that will serve as our classroom training center where we will teach courses on various aspects of agriculture- from grain storage to canning and preserving. We envision this as a base for TAG’s leaders to host short term mission trips and working interims.
Why Your Support Matters
We are excited to see what God has planned and are honored that you would consider investing in the important work we are doing.
By championing TAG’s Food Production and Training Center you are setting in motion a sustainable solution to combat malnutrition for these most vulnerable children now and for future generations. Your donation will empower us to provide food security and training to improve the lives of children in Uganda and serve as a model farm for future initiatives in East Africa and around the world.
